"Like
I was saying, during the proceedings I had
to become one of the two characters at different
points: the woman in the film and her fantasy,
and for this JJ told me their background
story.
The
result is ten sessions where I live the passion
of two women, one who's a fantasy but in the
fantasy her suffering is real. The other,
the one having the fantasy, her suffering
is not as real.
How
can I show the difference? That
was not the only intention. The
other intention was more graphic.
While
I had to have everything well thought out
in my head.. I also had to have the movements
worked out. We
were going to explore the graphic possibilities
of a crucifixion.
There
are so many.
