| The
story of Seven Days on the Cross |
My name is Aemilius and I have the duty
to report to The Censor, the registrar of Rome, and
as I fulfilled my duties in the conquered territories,
I was witness to an event that will soon be forgotten.
A woman by the name of Varinia of Thracia was brought
to be executed for the crimes of sedition and rebellion,
by means of torture and crucifixion. I was ordered
to write a detailed report of the event, I was given
the power to intervene as much as possible to have
all of the facts |
|
Varinia of Thracia was little known in these
parts until rumors spread that a new rebellion was being
plotted. She was captured before anything happened and
her execution was ordered to dissuade anyone with such
plans.
Thus, the sentence was to be carried out with extreme
severity for the education of the people of Thracia,
and to obtain information from the woman pertaining
to others involved. |

Varinia, as we called
our new heroine, is captured and taken to a place
where she will be executed. She's condenmed to
suffer torture while crucified, and by crucified
we mean attached to the patibulum.
Varinia's torturers
have designed a painful and elaborate way of
executing her. They want do demonstrate to the
rest that they have the power. And not only
that, they want her to declare who's behind
the plot they think they came across.
On her first day she
faces four tortures.

| Gabrielle,
long after suffering the torments of the inquisition,
decided that it would be nice to get into it
again. She arrived to New York
and placed her body, her mind, her skin, her
feelings to become Varinia of Thracia, our new
heroine and object of desire. |
