Album One - Preparation for the performances of The Body in Pain

For their first shoot JJ decided to first warm up. He wasn't really thinking of a theme, just the pictures. He had a black wall, just painted by none other than Jane (It's on video), a bright afternoon, and the moment of the afternoon where the sun is just going down, letting its light fall in full blast through the windows.

There was a log, which is waiting to hold Jane hanging, some ropes and a garment Jane found in NY and thought it would be useful one day.

With that and nothing more they started their shoot.

JJ asked Jane to put on the garment and nothing else. She would be naked except for that black, laced, see through, garment;

After their warm up session, where JJ placed Jane against the wall, first facing it and later with her back against it, JJ was excited enough to start his brain rolling.

"We'll do a preparation shoot for your future videos, we'll call it Performance of the Body in Pain."

Jane didn't like the title that much, but there it was, as a concept, and it was enough to get JJ on a roll.

They worked on nine sets with a very specific moment of the Preparation for the Performance of the Body in Pain:

	On the first set, the one they were not thinking of anything specific, Jane was placed agains the black wall, her hands behind her back. Later this set became The Trial. In JJ's escenarios there's always a Trial. That's one element of his previous work that was never explored and for the obvious reasons. But in a photo shoot it's possible. It's only a representation, no high drama. So the first set became The Trial. (Click on the picture to see full view)
	For the second set JJ lowered Jane's top wrapped her wrists and had her pose in many quiet ways. This set became The Sentence. Jane learns what's going to become of her. (Click on the picture to see full view)
	For the third set, JJ brought into the set the very heavy wooden log he plans to use on a series of rfpix movies. He had Jane become acquainted with the wood. So, the set is called The Patibulum (Click on the picture to see full view)
	The fourth set is called The Walk. Jane has to carry the log to her final destination. A must, of course. (Click on the picture to see full view)
	The fifth set in the series is called The Fall. The burden is to heavy for poor Jane so she goes down. (Click on the picture to see full view)
	The sixth set is called Waiting. It can also be the Scourge. Preparations are made for her execution and so she waits. (Click on the picture to see full view)
	The seventh set is called On the Cross, representing the moment where the condenmed is nailed to the wood. (Click on the picture to see full view)
	The eigth set is called *Crucified*. Jane hangs from the cross. (Click on the picture to see full view)
	The ninth set is called *Alternatives.* A few photos made as an after thought. (Click on the picture to see full view)
